The new headquarters for this animal nutrition company enhances their focus on research, new product development and innovation.

Approximately half of the 40,000-sf building is laboratory and support space and includes analytical, formulations, biochemistry, process chemistry, humidity chambers and pellet mill.

The new laboratory layout is efficient and thoughtful of processes and adjacencies. Windows around the lab perimeter create a strategic tour route for clients and visitors, which was a design driver early in the planning process.

The headquarters also reflects the company’s future-thinking workplace strategy and hybrid business model. In addition to laboratories, the right-sized space houses executive and administrative offices, hot desks and a variety of collaboration and meeting spaces.  

The design team embraced the Novus brand identity, with a suspended large-scale custom molecule display in the café and molecule details embedded in the carpet to create an engaging and collaborative workplace environment.

Novus works with external partners to achieve the company’s goal of creating products that address animal health, well-being, and performance through intelligent nutrition.
