The Bryn Mawr School

Upper School STEM Facility

The Upper School STEM Facility is designed to display aspects of science that engage students before they even step into a classroom. The building accommodates current and future curriculum through the use of flexible and reconfigurable laboratories and classrooms.

HERA worked with the school to develop a program that includes two physics/engineering/technology labs; two multipurpose studio labs (biology, environmental science); two chemistry/advanced biology labs; one fab lab (fabrication, robotics, maker); two prep/independent projects labs; one computer lab; two shared classrooms; two tiered classrooms; faculty offices, collaboration and mentor spaces.

The new STEM facility is being designed to LEED criteria.
