Mt. San Jacinto College

New STEM Building

The new three-story STEM Building features lab suites for anatomy and physiology, astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology, microbiology, physics and math. The facility also includes classrooms and faculty offices.

The labs are flexible to accommodate a range of pedagogies, which will lead to higher student success in learning. The notable casework features curved benches designed to promote student interaction and collaboration. The innovative casework was custom created for Mt. San Jacinto College and has since been added into other higher education projects.

The new space provides a centralized location for growing biology, physical science and
math programs that are currently located throughout campus. It also creates a permanent home for the mathematics departments.
