Middle Georgia State University

Natural Science and Nursing Building

The Natural Science and Nursing Building two-story expansion accommodates additional students in one of the fastest-growing programs at the university. The expansion provides maximum flexibility and adaptability.

The expansion includes a chemistry and microbiology lab, an applied physiology lab, two lab prep spaces, shared autoclave, seminar spaces, collaborative learning, building support and connector bridge. The nursing program and building support are located on first floor.

The applied physiology lab is designed to be shared by professors teaching both the Associate and Bachelor of Science nursing programs, with the goals of providing adequate storage for equipment, workspace for students and minimizing the lab prep time between classes.

The chemistry and microbiology labs are also shared spaces equipped to handle both biology and chemistry classes.
