American River College

Natomas Center Phase 2 and 3

The new two-story building will sit adjacent to the existing Natomas Center and will provide a physical connector from the existing building to the new construction.

The building will create a home for instruction space for general education, as well as life and physical sciences. Lab teaching spaces include anatomy/physiology, biology, chemistry, physics/astronomy/anthropology and geoscience.

Once complete, the building will include more than 16,000-asf of lab space, more than 5,000-sf of lecture space and 9,000-sf of office/administration and support spaces.

The labs are designed to maximize flexibility and promote student interactions. They feature curved lab benches to foster group learning in teams of two or four students.
