Please join us in celebrating the well-earned promotions of three team members whose growth and contributions to the firm continue all while embracing HERA’s core values of honesty, equality, entrepreneurship, respect, quality, leadership, collaboration, dedication, innovation & design excellence and learning.
- Rachel Morris, AIA, NCARB is now a Senior Laboratory Architect. Rachel’s knowledge of laboratory projects has advanced immensely since joining HERA. In addition, she has introduced new data visualization techniques, expanding our ability to share complex information.
- Cody Ferguson is now a Laboratory Planner. Cody helps lead HERA’s Revit standards committee and has introduced new features and standardizations to make our workflows more efficient and our drawing sets even more accurate.
- Nolan Vinson Dalman is now a Laboratory Planner. Nolan has embraced the HERA spirit, raising his hand whenever help is sought and soaking up knowledge along the way. He has quicky made himself an indispensable member of team.
HERA has a proud culture of mentoring and growing talent. Reaching the next level is not about years of practice, but rather a mastery of knowledge. The four levels of technical expertise are:
- Laboratory Architectural Designer – An individual early in their lab planning career who is learning about a variety of project types and able to work with a team and clients on specialized lab environments.
- Laboratory Planner/Architect – An individual with foundational lab planning experience who continues to grow while being proactive, organized and knowledgeable about many lab typologies.
- Senior Laboratory Planner/Architect – A highly-experienced individual with leadership abilities who can guide a complex lab project from programming through CA. They may also be involved in business development of the firm.
- Laboratory Subject Matter Expert – A highly-experienced leader who can lead teams through a wide range of highly technical projects. In addition, these individuals serve as mentors to younger staff and are integral to business development of the firm.
