One of HERA’s core principles and something in which we take great pride is nurturing our talent and recognizing individuals as they progress in their careers. To that end, we are happy to announce several recent promotions.
- Cris Caruso has been promoted from Architectural Laboratory Designer to Laboratory Planner. Cris joined HERA in 2019 and quickly became known as the office tinkerer. His passion and expertise in virtual reality and 3D printing spilled into his lab planning and has enhanced our expertise and innovations in those areas.
- Stef Hamelinck, LEED AP BD+C, RELi AP has been promoted from Laboratory Planner to Senior Laboratory Planner. Stef joined the firm in 2022 bringing with her a deep portfolio of R&D/spec laboratory projects. In just one year she has wowed HERA’s R&D, clinical and academic clients with her laboratory planning knowledge and project delivery.
- Rachel Updegrove, WELL AP has been promoted from Architectural Laboratory Designer to Laboratory Planner. Rachel joined the firm in 2018, first as an intern before being hired full time after graduation. She is an asset to her project teams and a leader within the architectural neurodiversity movement, sharing her unique perspective as an autistic/neurodivergent woman and designer at conferences, symposiums, university courses and white papers.
In addition to these promotions, we would also like to recognize Office Manager and Human Resources Assistant Taylor Schuman, PHR for earning her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. This certificate demonstrates her technical and operational knowledge of HR management including regulations surrounding human resources, techniques for implementing programs, and logistical operations.
Please join us in congratulating these four individuals!
