Marketing Coordinator

HERA is seeking a recent college graduate or A/E/C marketing professional with 1-3 years of marketing experience to work either 100% remotely or in person at one of our office hubs. The ideal candidate has strong communication, writing and design skills to support proposal and marketing efforts across the company. You will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Manager, contributing to the day-to-day operations of the marketing department. This role involves leading multiple pursuits concurrently. You will be responsible for developing effective responses to RFPs and RFQs, researching market trends, writing social media/website content and providing CRM and administrative marketing support. The ideal candidate is both organized and creative.

Roles & Responsibilities Include

  • Manage the preparation and submission of RFQs and RFPs, ensuring compliance with requirements and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and update marketing materials, such as resumes, project sheets, and original technical narratives, to highlight the company’s expertise and capabilities.
  • Use creative design to improve the visual appeal and readability of marketing materials, interview content and the newsletter.
  • Create original news posts, articles, and blog content for the company website and social media platforms.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project data and office personnel.
  • Corporate administration tasks may include assisting with research, company events and data entry.

Experience & Key Qualifications Include

  • 1-3 years of A/E/C marketing or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, architecture or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud).
  • Work effectively in a collaborative environment, taking responsibility for accomplishing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
