Join us in congratulating Lab Planner Rachel Updegrove on earning her WELL Accredited Professional (AP) credential. The credential denotes expertise in WELL building standards and a commitment to advancing human health and wellness.
The exam covers topics ranging from air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, mind and synergies.
Rachel joins a community focusing on advancing health and well-being in the built environment to improve health and human experience through design. A WELL-certified building rates a facility on operational policies, maintenance protocols, emergency plans and stakeholder education.
The rating system was developed by integrating scientific and medical research on environmental health, behavioral factors, health outcomes and demographic risk factors that affect health with leading practices in building design, construction and management.
WELL ideals will be particularly important as we re-enter the work environment in the coming months. Rachel will be able to help HERA clients develop plans and protocols to safeguard people within a building to confront and recover from the COVID crisis.
