HERA has a proven track record of providing employees an opportunity to grow within the firm, and we get great satisfaction in seeing this progression. Years ago, the firm enacted a formal Leadership Ladder program to provide recognition to staff members who have made a significant contribution to the firm. This year, HERA added a new rung to the ladder: Senior associate.
At our annual anniversary party, HERA recognized four employees who have showed a high level of dedication, commitment and participation in assuring the firm’s long-term success. We are thrilled to announce the following promotions:
- Laboratory Subject Matter Expert Eva Baker, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is now a senior associate. Eva is the director of HERA’s Philadelphia office, leading a staff of seven. She also helps lead firm-wide staffing, ensuring technical staff is utilized fully and appropriately.
- Senior Laboratory Planner Jinhee Lee is now a senior associate. Jinhee manages some of the firm’s largest federal government and forensic projects. She also spearheads an internal initiative to further elevate HERA’s design prowess.
- Senior Laboratory Planner Leila (Lee) Rzyska-Filipek is now an associate. Lee is a critical component to the firm’s growing clinical lab market. She also leads efforts to benchmark key project metrics for internal and project use.
- Senior Laboratory Architect Matt Willmus, NCARB is now an associate. Matt also is a critical component to the firm’s growing clinical lab market. He is a significant internal resource in properly training new technical staff members.
Congratulations to all four of our newly-promoted staff members!
