Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in biosafety program assessment, development and implementation and facility operations. This unique background in microbiology and public health provides great insight to our clinical, government and academic clients. Prior to joining architectural firms, he worked at Georgia State University where he helped build a comprehensive biological safety program. He also was responsible for managing nearly 100 laboratories including BSL-2, BSL-3 and BSL-4 facilities. Jeff has been involved in several A/BSL-3 facility planning and programming activities across the US, Southeast Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, working for various Ministries of Health and Agriculture to address basic and applied research in public health and emerging infectious diseases. Jeff also is an instructor, teaching scientists and facility planners how to apply science and scientific practices into lab operations and facility design.
