We are pleased to announce that Glen Berry, AIA, NCARB, previously the owner of Design for Science, has joined HERA laboratory planners as a senior laboratory architect. Glen brings with him 30+ years of experience as a laboratory planning consultant. His diverse portfolio spans more than eight million square feet of higher education, forensic, government, R&D and clinical labs.
Clients and partner firms will benefit from the additional support and services of our merged firms. The combined experience and qualifications of Glen with HERA creates even greater depth in laboratory planning and design.
“This is an exceedingly complementary fit. To say our firms had instant chemistry is not scientifically provable, but it is accurate,” said HERA President Laurie Sperling, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, CPSM. “The addition of Glen to our staff allows us to better serve the west coast and provides our clients an even deeper expertise in lab planning.”
Glen is a registered architect in Idaho, Utah, Texas and Nevada, and has NCARB certification. He earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts in Design from Brigham Young University.
HERA has an expanded geographic footprint with new offices in Boise, ID and Carlsbad, CA, in addition to offices in St. Louis, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Atlanta.
