HERA conducted a programming workshop as the first step in planning and designing a renovation of a College-owned building into a modern teaching facility. The renovated Hampton III Building houses TNCC’s nursing program training center, “smart” classrooms and four administrative groups affiliated with student outreach and workforce development.
Renovated space consolidates both the training center nursing faculty and administration. It will be able to handle student enrollment which is expected to grow to 160 in the future.
The training center includes a 10-bed fundamental skills lab, a separate 3-bed simulation lab and a med surgical-tech/maternity simulation lab as well as a laundry area.
