This expansion of the Main Clinic provides a new classroom and space for 24 new graduate operatories in which students will learn in a state-of-the-art dentist’s office environment. Additional space allows the School of Dental Medicine to consolidate teaching of general dentistry and specialty disciplines, including periodontics and endodontics, into a single clinic.
The facility features pediatric dentistry bay, which houses four operatories for pediatric dentistry that are separated from the Main Clinic area by an acoustically-insulated, glass enclosure.
Clinical care offered at the Advanced Care Wing includes advanced restorative dentistry, as well as care to medically compromised and developmentally disabled patients. The Advanced Care Wing also houses diagnosis, treatment planning, surgery, and prosthodontic treatment for implant dentistry.
The new wing allows doctors and patients to see each other in one comprehensive setting with the latest in dental technology.
