Jordan Valley Innovation Center
Springfield, Missouri

The adaptive reuse and complete re-imaging of a vacant high-rise grain milling facility created a bio-material and life sciences research complex that houses wet, biological, polymer, thin film, BSL-2, and forensic laboratories; clean rooms; vivarium research space; pilot plant; microscopy and lab support space. New mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems support new labs and shelled space for future development by Missouri State University and private enterprise partners. The building is certified LEED Silver.
